U12s off to a flyer in Division 1

Harry Browne's hat-trick ensured Drumoghill sealed a comfortable win after a tricky opening half ended with the scores level at 2-2.

Browne opened the scoring on 8 minutes before the home side equalised 5 minutes later and then took the lead after the unlucky Cillian Martin diverted the ball into his own net on 24 minutes.

Danny Doherty equalised for Drumoghill to leave the teams level at the break.

The visitors though took control during the second half with Browne putting his side back into the lead before Cillian Martin converted at the right end to make amends for his earlier misfortune and put his side 4-2 ahead.

Browne completed his hat-trick on 53 minutes before Martin scored again to seal an impressive win against a very good Letterbarrow team.

Great start for this young team winning impressively after a long trip to Tymeen.
