U12 Dynamos lose opener at Ballybofey

In a game that was an even affair for much of the contest, it was goals either side of the half time break that ultimately settled the contest.

Drumoghill almost took an early lead through Noah Gordon when he was unlucky to see an effort rebound off the crossbar in what was the closest either side came to scoring until the home side broke the deadlock just before half time.

With Drumoghill chasing the game from the start of the second half, they were ultimately undone when Ballybofey broke twice in the opening minutes to extend their lead to 3-0 within 10 minutes of the start of the second half.

Drumoghill tried hard to get back into the game but it wasn't their night in front of the goal and went home with a scoreline that did not reflect the pattern of the game.

Next up is Lifford Celtic at home and another chance to get points on the board.
