It's June 1988 this week with a feature on one of the very successful schoolboy teams that the club had at that time.
The Drumoghill U11s of 1988 were blessed with some wonderful young footballers and they upset the odds in that season's U11 cup final when they beat Illistrin 3-0.
Jason Gibson (2) and Patrick Doherty got the goals on the night.
Others that played for the club during that era included Columba Barron (RIP), Richard Gardiner, John Dill, Seamus Barron, Michael Lough, Brendan O'Donnell, Eoghan Roarty, Martin Tinney, Patrick McGeehan, Gerard Gallagher and the wonderful technician that was Michael Lynch.
Great times for a great set of boys that played under the guidance of Danny McConnell and Tommy Doherty.
