Reds too strong for depleted Dunkineely

22 Mar 2026

Drumoghill kept alive their promotion hopes with this convincing win over a depleted Dunkineely Celtic. Dean Murray and James Lenty were the principal architects, both helping themselves to an impressive individual goal tally as Drumoghill ran riot at The Moss.

The visitors arrived short on numbers and short on confidence, and were up against it from the beginning with Dean Murray on target after 2 minute. Ciaran Quinn doubled the advantage on 4 minutes before James Lenty went on to complete a first half hat-trick.

Murry added his second on the half hour before Karlos Rodgers, Sergey Alcorn and Liam O'Donnell found the net during a first half of dominance.

The second half had a similar pattern with Lenty grabbing another two goals to add to strikes from Leon Doherty, Liam O'Donnell, Philip Doran and Aaron Donnell.
