Fintown take the points in U14s

Fintown Harps secured the points thanks to a dominant first half at The Moss.
Playing with the aid of a strong breeze in the first half, the visitors were much stronger and their dominance showed as they raced into a 5 goal lead before half time.
The lads were clearly disheartened with their first half efforts but regrouped at half time and showed a lot more spirit in the second half.
The message at half time was to treat the second half like a new game and try to win the second half.
The boys produced a much better second half display and got their rewards when Harvey Smyth (2) and Sam McElhinney found the net in a more balanced second half.
Fintown eventually ran out 8-3 winners in difficult conditions.
