Dynamos exit U12 Cup

From the start, Donegal Town were on top, but the young Dynamos defended strongly and held firm until Donegal took the lead on 18 minutes. They then added two further goals before half-time.

Just before the break, the Dynamos came close to getting on the scoresheet when Violet Henderson saw her effort well saved by the Donegal Town goalkeeper.

Early in the second half, Donegal extended their lead with a fantastic strike from 25 yards to make it 4–0.

The Dynamos had a few chances of their own throughout the game, but unfortunately it just wasn’t to be their day against a strong and physical Donegal Town side.

Despite the result, the young Dynamos never gave up and continued to battle right until the final whistle. 👏

The future remains very bright for this fantastic group of boys and girls, with two more years of football at U12 level ahead of them. ⚽

A big thank you to Gareth and his fellow coaches, and best of luck to Donegal Town in the semi-final.

Also, a big thank you to John McGlanaghey for officiating the game.
