Brilliant year for our U12s

It's been a great year for this group - weekly coaching sessions since February, 28 matches played across a number of tournaments, challenge games and blitz events. This group are also the first team from Drumoghill FC to have played in the Foyle Cup.

There has been so much improvement this year and the coaches are delighted with their progress. All of the boys and girls are willing to listen and learn and this has been a key part of their development. Credit to their parents for their help and for transporting them to all of the training sessions and matches.

Many of them will remain at U12 next season whilst some others will advance to U14. We are delighted that the club have been accepted by the Donegal Underage League and we plan to compete at both age groups next year. We also plan on having both teams entered in other competitions - including next year's Foyle Cup - which was such a brilliant experience in 2024.

We will continue to recruit players as we plan to develop several teams within each age group so we are always happy to welcome new players (boys and girls).

We can promise a safe and fun environment where the emphasis is on enjoyment and participation so anyone that's interested are more than welcome to get in touch over the Winter.

We plan to resume early in the new year with a number of coaching sessions and challenge games before the league campaign begins in early Spring.
