Meadows double beats Curragh

Meadows fired home the winner in stoppage time to settle a game that either side could have won.

Having earlier notched the equaliser to bring the scores level, Meadows was in the right place at the right time to break Curragh's hearts, with the visitors so close to a winner themselves just before Meadows hit the winner for the home side.

With the game poised at 1-1 and time running out, Curragh thought they had grabbed a late winner but a brilliant save from Harry Wilson kept the scores level before Meadows late winner.

Curragh started the stronger of the two sides and created some great chances. Their pressure paid off as they deservedly took a 1-0 lead.

The Dynamos came out for the second half looking like a different team and created some excellent opportunities. The breakthrough came when Ruari Meadows finished brilliantly after great work from Kieran Stewart.

Then, in the dying moments, the Dynamos grabbed the all-important winning goal, with Ruari Meadows striking again in the last minute to secure a 2-1 victory.

A fantastic team performance from our young Dynamos, who showed great character to come from behind.
